Your First Visit
Our new patient examination is complimentary. This initial examination includes
a discussion of your orthodontic concerns and a review of your medical and dental
history. Dr. Lempert will conduct an oral evaluation and determine if treatment
is indicated. Should treatment be necessary, we will inform you of the need for
diagnostic records. If treatment is not indicated we may recommend a period of
observation.
Diagnostic Records
|
Dr. Lempert's office is committed to quality professional care. Prior to initiating
orthodontic treatment comprehensive diagnostic records are taken. To provide
the best possible orthodontic care, these records are extensive and include
plaster study models of the teeth, X-rays, photographs of the patient's teeth
and face, and a complete oral examination. This information is used to develop
a custom treatment plan for each patient. These records are also helpful in
tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.
It is only by taking high-quality, comprehensive records that Dr. Lempert can
make accurate treatment decisions based on all the available information. |

Consultation
After Dr. Lempert has evaluated your records, she will meet with you to discuss
your treatment options in detail, including treatment fees. For school-aged patients
Dr. Lempert encourages, when applicable, that both parents be present for the
consultation. In this way, the family can address their questions and concerns
without delay.
Regular Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only. We are proud that our office is known
for staying on schedule and on time. It is very rare that a patient needs to
wait even a few minutes. Our patients appreciate this refreshing change from
the typical doctor's office experience. In order to maintain this level of efficiency,
if you ever need to change or cancel an appointment, please notify us immediately.
Dr. Lempert has developed her practice with busy parents and children in mind.
She has office hours as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 7:00 PM.
Patient Protection
Our office is committed to your safety. We consistently apply state-of-the-art sterilization and disinfecting techniques to provide you with maximum
protection. We adhere to every standard of infection control set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA).
Payment & Office Practices
Cost
The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem while keeping in mind that quality is our first commitment. You will be able to
discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. For your convenience, we have payment plans to suit different budgets, including a no down payment
option. We also accept assignment of some insurance plans and file the necessary papers to the insurance company. We work hard to make orthodontics
affordable.
Fees
In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of quality and professional care, we have established this financial policy:
- If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount. (If you have insurance, we will offer a discount for payment of your
portion of the fee that will not be covered by insurance.)
- To fit your financial needs, financial arrangements (including a no-down-payment option) can be made to extend your payments over a period of months.
- For your convenience, we accept payment by debit card, Visa and MasterCard.
Insurance
We are a participating provider for some insurance plans. If we are not a participating
provider for your plan, we will help you obtain the highest possible reimbursement
to make your treatment even more affordable. We are happy to handle all aspects
of processing your insurance claims. However, quality and professional care are
provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. It is important
that parents and adult orthodontic patients clearly understand and agree that
it is their responsibility to see that the originally agreed upon fee is paid
to our office directly, regardless of benefits that are anticipated from insurance
plans. Also, please notify us immediately if your insurance is terminated or
changed at any time during your orthodontic treatment, as payment plans may need
to be modified. Dr. Lempert is committed to quality, professional care and believes
in providing this assistance as a courtesy. In this way, patients have the freedom
to choose an orthodontist based on quality and expertise, not one dictated by
a third party provider.
Emergencies
If you have a problem requiring emergency treatment, please call us as early in the day as possible. We reserve a limited amount of time each day so
those patients can be scheduled quickly. Should you have an emergency after hours or on weekends, please call the office and you will be directed to
Dr. Lempert's "on-call" emergency number. We will respond to your call as soon as possible.
